When creating a new parking zone, you will get the option to insert a Latitude and longitude or navigate to your location by clicking the [Show My Location] button.
When using the Lat/Long, the map will be centered when all information is available.
Note: [Show My Location] depends on the GPS, Mobile masts or servers near you and may be inaccurate. |
When creating a Parking Zone, you will get an empty world map.
1.Assign a name, the Zone number, and the number of spaces available.
2.Set the check box Visible on map depending on the state of the parking zone.
3.Optional: check the Centre Point Manual Adjustment checkbox if you only want to use the coordinates of centre of the parking zone
4.Save.
Note: The browser will not remember your zoom level after a save. You must zoom in to the correct area after a save until you have created a zone shape. |
The “Start Draw Zone” and the “Show My Location” buttons become available.
5.Zoom in to the area you want to create a zone. It is possible to add more than one shape to the zone map thus grouping more parking lots to one zone.
6.Click “Start Draw Zone”. The edit buttons become available.
7.Click the polygon to go into edit mode. The cursor changes to a cross-hair.
8.Click on a corner on the border of the zone. An open circle will appear.
9.Click on the next corner. A line with 2 white circles and a greyed out on will appear.
10.Continue to create lines until you reach the last corner. Click on the first corner to close the polygon.
11.Click “Save Zone” to save the shape.
Note: Make sure to finish your work before leaving your seat as your changes will lost due to an automatic logout. |
12.Click the Terminals tab to add terminal to the zone.
Note: The terminal will not be visible on the map until they got a location in Terminal details and the coordinates of the terminal are in/near the zone. It is then possible to relocate the terminal to the correct location on the map. |
