Term

3GPP

3rd Generation Partnership Project. The joint standardization partnership responsible for standardizing UMTS, HSPA and LTE.

Company

In WebOffice, the term company does not necessarily have to be a company.  It might be a country, a municipality, a city, a city area, etc.

CWT

Abbreviation for Cale WebTerminal.

Forwarding

Information about events at the terminal sent by e-mail and/or SMS (text messaging).  The recipient may be, for example, a service technician.  The SMS function is an optional service that is not included in the standard WebOffice package.

Gadget

A graph showing an analysis of the data from the Data Warehouse.

GPRS

General Packet Radio Service is a mobile data service available to users of 2G and 3G GSM (see below) mobile phones and modems.  GPRS is packet-switched, meaning that multiple users share the same transmission channel, only transmitting when they have data to send.  Thus, the total available bandwidth can be dedicated to users who are sending at any given moment, giving higher use where users only send or receive data intermittently.  Usually, GPRS data are billed per kilobytes of information transferred.

GSM

The Global System for Mobile Communications is the most popular standard for mobile phones in the world.  It includes packet data capabilities by GPRS or 3GPP (see above).

Mobile Payment Provider. E.g., the Flowbird App

Schedule

A time schedule that specifies the action(s) WebOffice shall execute regularly and which terminal(s) are affected.  The actions include file transmissions and time synchronization.

Terminal

Payment terminal.

User

This term covers both the people using WebOffice at a PC and people who do not, for instance a service technician.  

WebOffice Company Administrator.

A person within the local parking operator who has the proper privileges to add users and terminals, view statistics and graphs, etc.

WebOffice Distributor Administrator.

A person at your local Flowbird distributor who has been assigned privileges to make specific types of WebOffice settings that perform certain tasks.

WebOffice System Administrator.

A person within the Flowbird Group who initially sets up and adapts WebOffice to your parking operation.

WTP

Abbreviation for WayToPArk.
