The display assembly is build up with the following components:
1.Notification area. This area can be used to display information that will not change often
2.Warning/Error Indicator
3.Display module
4.Keyboard with Dynamic buttons
5.Coin insert
6.Card reader
Notification Area
The notification area (1) is a transparent area with an inlay. The inlay ca be pulled out and replaced with print to display information about e.g. the terminal ID.
Warning/error indicator
The warning/error indicator (2) and the ambient light sensor are mounted on top left corner behind notification area.
The warning/error indicator can light with either red or yellow colour.
RED = Error
YELLOW = Warning
Dynamic buttons & keyboard
There are four yellow software-controlled Piezo buttons below the terminal display. The function of each button is described in the terminal display and is fully customizable and programmable. The ACCEPT (green) and CANCEL (red) buttons are located on each side of the zero key in the numeric section of the keyboard and contain symbols that also are shown in the display to provide a user-friendly interface. The function of the buttons changes dynamically depending on the current phase of a purchase or information retrieval. The current function of a key is indicated by an adjacent caption or instructive text in the display.
