Carry-over time is the excess time from a purchased interval. In carry over mode, this excess time is used in a later interval. You can specify how carry-over time between intervals in a tariff package should be treated. This is done by specifying a carry-over mode.
Value |
Explanation |
---|---|
no carryover |
Any excess time of a purchase in an interval extending beyond the end of that interval is lost. |
carryover with recalculation |
Any excess time of a purchase in a current interval is recalculated into money that is used to buy time in the next interval. The rates from the next interval are used. |
carryover without recalculation |
Any excess time of a purchase in a current interval extends into the next interval. No recalculation is made – the time using the rates from the current interval is also used in the next interval. This is the default carry-over mode. If carryover mode is not defined, this mode will be automatically used. |
Example:
carryovermode = carryover with recalculation;
