CWT Software Configuration Handbook 4.40

Element        Path: <cwt><CORE><ambientLightSensor>

The Ambient Light function, which is common for the STN backlight and the external light, measures the ambient light with a given sampling periodicity and calculates a brightness value.

Attributes

hysteresis

Range:0 – 100
Default:5
Description:The ambient light change, in percentage above or below the threshold, needed to change the backlight brightness. This is a filter function to prevent state change every time the ambient light is measured while its brightness is close to the threshold.

samplingPeriod

Range:1 – 65535 (minutes)
Default:1
Description:Measuring period.

threshold

Range:0 – 1023
Default:756
Description:The threshold that determines if it is dark or not. If the threshold = 500 ambient light below 500 is considered dark.
typereboot
Range:AVR
VEML7700
Default:AVR
Description:Type of ambient light sensor used.
AVR is used for CWT doors
VEML7700 is used for Strada doors

See Example of a light setup for more details.
