The bar code scanner can read 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional (matrix) bar codes.
This scanner is located on the left side of the contact-less reader.
The visible part is a transparent sheet with a mirror behind it reflecting the barcode to the scanner. See Bar code Scanner in the maintenance section for more details.
The scanner will be activated via a button in the Code Input panel or personal Identifier panel. The scanned code will be displayed in the input text box.
