Occupancy based tariff selection allows to set up a dynamic tariff based on a zone’s occupancy. For example, you could have a higher rate as the occupancy increases. This functionality uses the Parking Zones functionality.
The CWT terminal will request WebOffice for a Tariff Package ID to use. WebOffice will select a tariff package depending on the actual occupancy based on the number of purchases where the end time is not expired yet.
The tariffs must be available in the CWT
To set up this feature you must:
1.Create parking zones
2.Add terminal IDs to the zones
3.Create a cwt configuration for the tariff packages to use
4.Start a terminal (preferable in the office) to create the Tariff Packages in WebOffice
5.Configure a service routing using the "Occupancy Based Tariff Selection" service provider
6.Send the cwtconfig file to every terminal in the parking zones.
| Important: When using different Tariff Packages in each zone, you must make sure that the tariff packages have a unique ID PER ZONE and that all terminal in that zone use the correct tariff package. |
