The Tariff Editor allows a company to manage basic tariff Packages in a Graphical User Interface and to schedule sending them to one or more CWT terminals. The Tariff Package will become active as soon as it is uploaded to a terminal.
Important: A Tariff Package is part of the CWT configuration file cwtconfig.xml. Updating a Tariff will case the complete cwtconfig.xml file to be sent to the terminal(s) using the tariff. |
This feature is licensed and must be set up in WebOffice.
The Tariff Editor keeps track of all terminals that use the same Tariff Package. After updating a tariff it can be sent to all terminals that use this Tariff Package.
When adding a terminal to a group, make sure it gets a copy of the current configuration of the other terminals in the group.
Warning: When starting to use the Tariff Editor, all terminals that use a Tariff Package that is changed using the Tariff Editor will be set to a status "Managed By CWO" via the tariff package. This means that any PAT changes in the configuration will not longer be read into WebOffice. Changing the cwtconfig.xml file in the terminal or sending it to a terminal in any other way that via the Tariff Editor will cause major problems. If needed, only a system administrator can revert this setting. If you need to change the configuration due to e.g. new hardware make sure you do not change the PAT structure. |
