Name

Description

Area

Area represents a geographic shape that makes sense for a Business Customer in order to manage some services like Parking. An Area is contained into a Park.

Area category

Area category allows to group Areas through a Business Customer point of view (ex: an area category of all areas with the same residential tariffs)

Asset

Asset represents a geographic point that makes sense for a Business Customer in order to manage some services like Parking. Example: a parking meter as an Asset.

Asset category

Asset category allows to group Assets through a Business Customer point of view. It can be considered as a family of Asset of the same nature. Example: category of parking meters

Default parking contract

Short ending contract available independent to the type of parking audience. Example: visitors have a default parking contract

forced rotation

A restrictive parking policy allowing the parking audience to only park for a specific number of hours per pre-defined period.

MPP

Mobile Payment Provider. A mobile parking application used to pay for the parking.

Order

Representation of a sales transaction sent to the back-office by a Point of Sale. The order contains the information on the product sold (Ex: new ticket sold). The order is referred to as posOrder in the API descriptions

Park

Park is defined by a polygon which represents the administrative boundary of a city. Two parks cannot overlap.

Parking audience

Parking audience represents a category of end-users or vehicles that will use the service Parking. Examples: visitor, resident, electric vehicle

Parking contract

A contract that allows a vehicle to park in a restricted list of areas with a tariff linked to its parking audience

Parking contract type

A kind of contract model for a Parking audience in a park.

Parking offer

the parking product(s) for sale

Ticket

A reference to purchased parking rights. not to be confused with a physical printed ticket or a digital representation of a physical ticket, e.g., an image, an SMS, or an email description of a ticket or containing a copy of a printable ticket.
