This section allows you to configure the free-time handling. To enable this section, activate the license "free time handling"

After activating the free-time handling license, the page will update with a Free Time Profile section
•Select the Free Time Calculation Type. The parking free time handling will be calculated on Company/City level or per parking zone
oCompany. The free time will be one and the same for the whole company
oParking zone. The free time will be calculated per parking zone. Configuration is done in each parking zone.
Calculation type Company
When selecting calculation type Company, an additional box " Time Window Type" will be displayed.
The time window specifies how the free time is calculated
Select the Time Windows Type:
•Absolute. each period starts at the beginning of the configured period
•relative. Each period has a pre-defined duration. when requesting for free time, WebOffice takes the current time and takes all purchases that occurred during the specified period and calculates the used free time.
Time window Absolute
After selecting the time window Absolute 2 additional field become available
•Select the period in Absolute rule.

oCalendar week
•Specify the number of Free Time minutes for this period
•Save the configuration
Time window Relative
After selecting the time window Relative 2 additional fields become available
•Specify the period to view purchases backwards in the Duration in minutes. In the example we look back 24 hours for earlier purchases that used any free time. the number of minutes found for these purchases is subtracted from the free time in minutes. the result is sent back the caller.
•Specify the number of Free Time minutes for this period
•Save the configuration
Calculation Type Parking Zone
When selecting calculation type Parking zone the configuration is done in each involved Parking zone. See Free-Time Profile in the Parking Zone Details page.

The free time is calculated in the periods configured in the Parking Zone Utilization Profile.
