It is important to understand how changes in the online system affect historical data in the cubes. When a purchase is made, it is related to a terminal and indirectly to a terminal structure node. E.g., when analysing purchases, it is possible to aggregate the purchase amount by terminal and/or terminal structure.
If we move the terminal to another terminal structure node in the future, the historical values will change since there is no version history recorded for the terminal’s connection to the terminal structure. The current value is always displayed.
