Menu: | User Management -> Reset Personalization State |
Users in WebOffice have the option to customize the layout of columns or apply custom filters in list forms. Information about the last filter applied, along with the customized layout of list forms, is stored in the database as a personalization state for each user account.
Changes made to the system, e.g. in a new version release, might render the personalization state invalid due to fields in the database having been renamed. When a user tries to open a personalized form affected by such a change, the user will receive an error message. Clicking Reset Form Layout button at the top of the page might solve the problem in some situations (depending on the nature of recent changes made to the system).
In other situations, redirection may be involved, and the user might then have lost the possibility to navigate to an erroneous page (and is therefore unable to click the Reset Form Layout button).
In such a case, the system administrator can help solve the problem by using the Reset Personalization State function.
To use this function, proceed as follows:
1.On the WebOffice menu, select Cale Support > User Management > Reset Personalization State. The following page is displayed:
2.To reset the personalization state for a specific user and function, select the user in the User Account list box.
3.Optionally, select the desired function in Function Structure.
If necessary, expand parts of the function structure tree by clicking.
Note: When selecting a function containing lower-level functions, the reset is performed on the selected function only. Lower-level functions are not affected. |
oTo reset the personalization state for a specific user and all functions, select the user in the User Account list box and leave the Function Structure list box empty.
oTo reset the personalization state for all users but limited to a specific function, leave the User Account list box empty and select the desired function in Function Structure. If necessary, expand parts of the function structure tree by clicking.
oTo reset the personalization state for all users and functions, leave both the User Account and Function Structure list boxes empty.
4.Click Apply to perform the chosen action.
