The use of the Internet makes it possible to use only one, or just a few, application servers and their location is of limited importance. However, because of the very sensitive data that is handled by the servers, it is of the utmost importance that the security aspect is given very high priority.
The web server communicates with your PC over the Internet. All transactions and events taking place in the terminals can be monitored via WebOffice.
Internal web services convert terminal protocols and like to WebOffice format for storage in a central database.
External web services are used for export data from WebOffice and import of data to WebOffice. They convert WebOffice information to third party systems (typically the customer’s own financial system or bank for card acquiring) and vice versa.
