Menu: | User Management -> User Role Templates |
Note:
User role templates are only created by System Administrators. This contrasts with user roles, which can be created by system administrators as well as by customer administrators (provided sufficient access rights have been granted).
User roles are created and maintained using the User Roles function. For more information, see the User Administration chapter in WebOffice User Guide for Company Administrators.
A user role is always based on a user role template, which dictates the default set of access rights and permissions for the related user role. In the current version of WebOffice there are three default user role templates:
•Customer Administrators
•Finance
•Maintenance
These three user role templates are reflected on the Company Details page, in the Templates section. When adding a new company to WebOffice, the system administrator has the option to create user roles based on the Finance and Maintenance template.
The Customer Administrators template is selected by default and the corresponding role is thus always created automatically for a given company.
To view the properties of a user role template, proceed as follows:
1.On the WebOffice menu, select Cale Support > User Management > User Role Templates. A list of the existing templates is displayed.
2.Click on the row of the desired template. The User Role Template Details page is displayed:
1.Review the information.
2.To exit the page without changing any information, click the Back button in your web browser or select another option on the WebOffice menu.
