Mount the terminal in a convenient place according to local applicable regulations like ADA, DDA or Art 11.

The terminal is wall mounted with 4 bolts. See section Mounting measurements for drilling dimensions and positioning.

Use the adequate fixing components depending on your wall structure (concrete, wood, plaster). Flowbird does not provide any fixation accessories as each wall is different.

Flowbird recommends the following stainless steel fixing accessories

The Access S5 weight is almost 8kg. 4 M8 stainless steel bolts shall be used to mount the Access S5 using 4 threaded inserts. Make sure that you don't have any water ingress into the terminal through the fixing holes either by adding a gasket under the bolt head or creating a silicone seal between the wall and the Access around the fixing holes.

Once the Access S5 is mounted, you have to bring 12V 2A (minimum) to power the Access S5. Pass your 12V power supply cable through the power grommet located at the bottom of the terminal and connect it to the Universal MATE-N-LOK 3 pin connector (not provided). See section Power supply for more detailed information.

If you want to connect your Access S5 to the Ethernet, please refer to section Connecting to Ethernet for more detailed information.
