For a new terminal, the certificate installation for the e.g. Montecatini park is as follows:

Use a web browser with the URL for the park: https://streetsmart.parkeon.com/sit1/security/certificates/v1/tokens?parkAlternateName=IT-689&profileName=Terminal

Enter your username and password

Save the retrieved token as ‘AuthToken.txt’ to the root of a USB stick.

Insert the USB stick in the terminal.

NOTE: The same token can be used for all terminals using the same park id. The token is valid for 12 hours.

Enter the service menu for the EVHub DLL.

Select ‘Certificate Request New’ and wait until the text ‘A certificate was successfully retrieved from the host’ is shown.

Select ‘Certificate Check’ and check that the certificate is valid.

Certificate files are stored on the SD-card in ‘Storage Card\ExternalPayUnits\Certificates’

The names for the files are constructed in the following way: “[host name][park id].[Extension]”

Example

“Streetsmart.parkeon.com11056.crt” is the certificate

“Streetsmart.parkeon.com11056.csr” is the certificate signing request

“Streetsmart.parkeon.com11056.key” is the crypto key pair

The naming convention permits to have certificates for several different parks on the same SD-card which will help during development and testing. A certificate is only valid for one park.

Folders for holding the certificate and such are automatically created.
