Once a valid certificate is retrieved from the host the terminal will use the scheduler to check that the certificate is valid and the expiration date is more than 30 days ahead. If the certificate is not valid, or about to expire, the terminal will request for a renewal of the certificate. It will then reuse the certificate signing request file (‘Streetsmart.parkeon.com11056.csr’) created earlier.
Renewing the certificate can also be done manually as follows:
Enter the service menu for the ParkingRights DLL.
Select ‘Certificate Renew’ and wait for the text "The certificate was successfully renewed"
