The yellow status indicator has several functions.
• | If printer firmware 3.82 is used the status light is constantly on when the printer is operational. With printer firmware 4.1 the status light is constantly turned off as long as the printer is operational and there are no errors. This change has been introduced to save power |
• | Flashing rapidly — Indicates an error. Hold down the feed button and the number of blinks will reveal the type of error. |
The Error indication is reset
• | When the error condition is removed. |
• | The Next time the power is switched ON. |
• | When the print head is lifted and then lowered. |
