Add Funds to ePurse cards

It is possible to add funds to ePurse cards using a CWT terminal

To do so, a Purchase Prerequisite routing with the ePurse Validation service provider and an Online Purchase Transfer routing with the ePurse Add Funds service provider must be configured.
The Epurse Card license must be enabled for the company.

At the terminal the full card PAN or a partial PAN (the right most digits) can be entered. Since in most cases all of the cards will have a company specific prefix, the prefix can be omitted for simplicity when the card PAN is entered manually.

 

ePurse Validation

This purchase prerequisites routing is used to validate if the ePurse card exists. The card PAN is entered at the terminal or capture with the swipe of the card. If the card exists, the service will return the current balance (in the ExternalDescription field) and the tariff package to use to calculate the amount to charge for the new funds. The only configurable field for this service provider is the Tariff.

 

ePurse Add Funds

This online purchase transfer routing is used to add funds to the ePurse card once payment has been processed. There are no configuration parameters to configure for this service provider.
