LicenseKeyMediumePurse cards are used like credit cards but instead of validating a purchase amount with an acquiring bank, the amount is validated against the cards balance in WebOffice.  Think of the card like a VISA Gift Card, there is an amount linked to the card and once this amount is zero, the card can no longer be used until it is topped up.  Top-up can be done via WebOffice or using a CWT terminal.

Since this is not a credit card and we need to debit the purchase amount from the card in WebOffice, card validation is done Online Only.

Example of an ePurse Card:

Card PAN: 2500 0100 0000 0501.

Valid to: 2201.

Service Code: 494.

Important:
You must create a terminal group of type ePurse Card and assign terminal to it to be able to use ePurse cards.  See Terminal Groups for how to set up a terminal group.
