The Parking Zone Utilization profile tab allows you to create a utilization profile used to calculate the Historical Paid Occupancy.
Based on the information in this tab a service calculates ones per day the occupancy for this zone.
Warning: Changing the profile after the profile is set and service has run will have no effect on the already calculated occupancy. If the occupancy most be recalculated for some reason, Contact Flowbird Support. |
The example above is set for a tariff for a standard week as depicted below.
The occupancy is calculated for purchases made in the time frame set for each day. In the example, all purchases starting from 08:00 to 19:00 are calculated for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday and Saturday use a different time frame and Sunday is free parking.
In this example, we assume an external payment method being available. e.g. a third-party mobile application. The external factor will add an additional N % of the number of spaces to the occupancy. If no external Payment method is used set this value to zero.
The weekday drop-down box allows selecting multiple days. These days will use the same profile.
Note: Our WayToPark mobile application is available for each zone as a terminal and will be calculated in the same way as physical terminal. You do not need to set an external factor for this. |
Creating a weekday
To create a profile set the start time and end time for the paid period for each day. Days that do not require payment like the Sunday in the example above can be left out from the profile.
Set the external Factor Percent value only if you use an external payment method like a third-party mobile application.
